Inspired By: Diane Kruger

I think Diane Kruger is one of the most beautiful women on the planet today. I mean, she was Helen of Troy (aka 'the face that launched a thousand ships') in the 2004 movie Troy so that kind of says it all. Also just look at that bone structure & I don't know if it's just me but I love a good straight nose. I love her distinct facial features, her body shape, her hair, her style and of course her makeup. Now because I love her so much I thought I would try a look 'inspired' by her, so a kind of minimal, natural look. I used several pictures that I found on Pinterest for a little inspiration board. (By the way if you want to follow me on Pinterest this is the link). Anyway, I hope you like this look! It's supposed to be inspired by and therefore not a total replica of one specific look...

Step 1: I started off by using my KIKO City Filter Primer and used L'Oréal True Match Foundation as well as the concealer from that range as a base.
Step 2: I filled in my brows (a little lighter than usual) with the L'Oréal Brow Artiste Pencil in the blonde shade.
Step 3: I used my Burberry Eyeshadow in Gold Trench all over and MAC Woodwinked thickly along the upper and lower lash line.
Step 4: I the lined my upper and lower lash line with a Topshop Khol Pencil in Sable, which is a really nice brown shade. For mascara I used my Armani Eyes To Kill (what's new there?) but I forgot to include it in the picture, OOPS! Sue me I guess.
Step 5: Diane Kruger has the most amazing cheekbones, which I certainly don't, so I used the & Other Stories Face Contour Cream which is really good for mimicking a shadow. I use that around my nose too. I used my favourite highlighter by thBalm which is of course the Mary-Lou Manizer on the tops of my cheeks and down the center of my nose.
Step 6: And to finish it all off I used the middle shade from the Sleek Blush by 3 Palette in Pumpkin and the Bourjois Shine Edition Lipstick in Pou Pou Pidou.

So that's my Diane Kruger inspired makeup look! Quite soft & feminine I think. Let me know what you think!
