At the moment I'm all about pink/purple lips or just a nude. I'm kind of over the red and orange lips just because I feel like they never wear very well. That's not to say I won't be obsessing over bright oranges next month but for the time being it's all about pinks and purples and nude if I'm being boring. This little post is just so I can mention some star products I have been impressed by.
First up is the L'Oréal Magic Lumi Primer which is a really brightening, glowy primer which would be great to wear on it's own if you're having a good skin day. This was shown by one of my fave babes Elissa (the beautiful girl behind Styleaffix, who is actually also a real life friend of mine!) in this post. But anyway, it's one of those light reflecting ones so it distracts from any imperfections and it's a really lovely base under foundation if you like a glowy look, which I certainly do. A foundation that I really, really like is the Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Treatment Foundation which I have in the shade 00 Alabaster. It's a nice lightweight, dewy foundation which is great for dry skin. (Please note how photoshopped my skin looks?! I don't know how that happened). Now, moving on to an eye palette. I didn't realise how cheap Wet N' Wild makeup actually was and I think this 'Walking On Eggshells' palette was only a couple odd dollars before tax which is ridiculous. The quality of these is actually fantastic- much better than anything from MUA, Sleek or the likes because they feel really buttery, they blend beautifully and the colours are so wearable. At the beginning of the post, I talked about how I love pinky purple lipsticks at the moment. The one I'm wearing here is the L'Oréal ColourRiche Caresse Stick in Violet Chiffon and it's such a beautiful purple pink shade which on my lips looks kind of purpley pink. What I love about this lipstick is how bright it is but also how moisturizing it feels. I have two shades of the ColourRiche lipsticks and I highly recommend them.
Your make up looks absolutely flawless! Wish we had Wet n Wild make up here in the UK, would love to try it x
