Current Hair Favourites # 2

I will admit that I am a bit of a makeup hoarder, a tiny bit of a skincare hoarder (but not too bad at all) but when it comes to hair and body care I tend to keep things to a minimal. I don't really want five shampoos, five conditions and just five of everything because then it just takes up too much room and never gets used. So that is why I tend to write more posts about makeup and skincare but I do have some bits and bobs that I have been really liking this Summer.

The first product I have been enjoying is the Bumble and Bumble Texture Hair(un)dressing Creme, which I got in the small size. I got this when I knew I was going to the hairdressers and I knew they would make my hair a bit to sleek, so I wanted something to add a bit of texture of volume. I really like this stuff for scrunching my hair with and making it look a little messy. That was the first product I ever tried from Bumble and Bumble. The second is the Thickening Hairspray which I got free with this month's issue of Elle magazine (if you can still get your hands on this I would highly recommend doing so). It just does what it says and helps make flat, fine hair look a little thicker with a few squirts of this. I like to use both of the Bumble products together for big, messy hair. I really want to try their Surf Spray next. The hair mask I am obsessed with at the moment is the L'Oréal Ever Riche one, which basically smells of vanilla and caramel. Not only does it smell amazing but it leaves my hair feeling really soft and manageable. This stuff is quite thin and slippery in texture compared to other hair masks I have used but you only need a tiny blob. I have tried the Ever Pure range (which I really like) but I would like to also try the shampoo and conditioner for the Ever Riche line because this hair mask is really, really nice. Finally, when it's hot outside and the sun dries your hair out, a bit of hair oil really helps make your hair feel softer and look shinier. The one I'm using at the moment (Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Oil) I actually just got because it was the cheapest in the supermarket. I usually really like the Macadamia one, any one by Kérastase and I love the L'Oréal Mythic Oil too however, I am actually impressed with this one. I went about three weeks without any hair oil and I didn't enjoy it at all, but this hair oil seems to have made my hair so much more manageable and looking a lot healthier so I am actually liking this particular one (although I can't find it on any UK website!).

Has anyone tried the Ever Riche line or any of these products?

  2. I really wanna try the Bumble & Bumble Texture stuff, is it sticky at all?

    1. Yes it is pretty sticky! But I always have hand sanitiser on me so it's never really a problem. I feel like it's sticky on your hands afterwards for about a minute and then it goes away anyway though.

  3. Interested in the Schwarzkopf hair oil - I'm always looking for a cheaper alternative to the macadamia oil, especially since I have such long hair!

  11. Ooh, thanks for sharing these! I do like to have five of everything (not that I actually do haha), I find it important to rotate my hair products so my hair doesn't get used to one thing. Plus, I just think it's fun to try new things! This Bb hair undressing creme sounds like just the thing for me, I'm in need of something to achieve that messy look! xx

  14. I have both of those Bumble and Bumble products but they've been neglected a bit recently as they weren't really working for me.
I'll have to try both again together using your technique!

    1. Give it a go! But it must also depend on people's hair types what does and doesn't work for them :)

  15. I love B&B hair creams. They are great at taming the frizz. My fav deep conditioner of the moment is by kiehl's. I would def recommend it to anyone!
