FOTD 6/8/13

I haven't done a Face Of The Day post in a while so I thought it was about time I got back into them. I like to see how products actually look on the face rather than just always pretty pictures of the product in the pan. I especially wanted to do one today because I have discovered a new product that I am especially pleased with.

I lost my beloved Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation by YSL for a while but I found it again today so I thought I would rekindle the love. I used the Dior BB Eye Cream for under my eyes (because that is really Holy Grail status for me at the moment & I can't seem to use anything else) and I used the Collection Lasting Perfect concealer on any blemishes. Now the real star of the show for me is the Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in the shade 06 Golden Brown. It is actually really similar to the Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo in On & On Bronze but it is in stick form, slightly more shimmery and maybe a tad warmer (yes mother, I do need both). The Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadows are really affordable and I don't find that they crease or fade throughout the day so they get a big thumbs up from me - I will definitely be looking at the other shades! I didn't choose to wear any eyeliner because I think the eyeshadow on its own is enough. However, I did use the top left shade from the MUA Undress Me Too palette on my brow bone just to give a more clean effect. For mascara I chose my trusty Armani Eyes To Kill which I just think is a really great everyday mascara. Although I would say that I think it performs better after it has been open for a couple weeks. I did use some brow products but it's just the same as usual (The Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit in 2 & the Tweezerman Brow Mousse). Obviously I used my Soap & Glory Solar Powder bronzer and theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter because I am still slightly obsessed with those. The blush I used was the *eek* limited edition Honey Jasmine blush by MAC which was in the All About Orange collection. And finally, on my lips I am wearing the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist!
