FOTD 21/08/13

Time for another Face Of The Day post. This Summer for me has actually been more about eyeshadow than it has lipstick (I mean, it's been more about sunshine and alcohol but on the beauty side of things...), especially gold/orangey tones which kind of scream autumn leaves but I don't care. *ALERT! I am in London at the moment so I may not have time to answer comments or visit other people's blogs but I will try*

For this look I started off by priming my skin with the KIKO City Filter Primer (which I reviewed here) and I used Revlon Nearly Naked foundation as my base. I can part with my Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Cream so again that features in another FOTD. Sorry guys, I just love it. On my eyes I used the KIKO Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in the shade '07 Golden Beige' with the second shade from the top in the MUA Undress Me Too eyeshadow palette in the crease and along the bottom lash line. With my eyebrows I just did the usual, using the darkest shade from The Body Shop Brow Liner Kit (shade 2) and setting them with the Tweezerman Brow Mousse. The mascara I chose to use is my beloved Armani Eyes To Kill, which is an amazing mascara if I haven't already mentioned that. On my cheeks I used my new KIKO Bronzer which I'm not sure how I feel about yet. Every time I try to swirl my brush in the product it kind of just goes all over the place so you have to be quite careful with it - and that bugs me. The blush I used is one I never hear people talk about but it's a pretty good dupe for NARS Luster and it's by The Body Shop but I don't think they sell it anymore which is unfortunate (it was shade 7). Although their sales are amazing and they often bring back discontinued items so you never know! Finally, on my lips I am wearing a Revlon Lip Butter in the shade Creme Brulee.
