I'm definitely more of a neutral girl in general, especially when it comes to my nail color. However, sometimes I do like to switch it up a bit, particularly when I'm dressed all in monochrome. Here are a few shades I have been wearing on my nails recently. Going from top, anti-clockwise...
Essie Penny Talk
This is a copper metallic shade which I think looks really... dare I say... chic.Essie Penny Talk
Essie Resort Fling
This is a pretty peachy coral shade but my only gripe with this is the fact that it goes on so incredibly sheer. I know a lot of people say that about 'Sugar Daddy' and 'Ballet Slippers' but those to me are supposed to be sheer and look nice that way. This one is slightly frustrating because it needs more than three coats - but the end result is pretty.
Essie Splash of Grenadine
New obsession. This looks absolutely gorgeous with either monochrome or brown/khaki shades. I'm not really a pink or purple girl but something about this nail polish is just beautiful.
Essie Sand Tropez
This kind of shade is typically me. It's basically just the perfect sandy beige/neutral which I love on an everyday basis. I find also that when more neutral polishes chip it doesn't look as bad.
L'Oréal Paris Mint Glacée
This is from the 'Les Blancs' collection so I apologise if you can't find it anymore! I'm definitely not a minty nail girl at all but what I loved about the polishes from this collection is that they all looked white (which I'm definitely into) with a slight bit of pastel color.
Yes, I am definitely a bit of an Essie girl. Let me know what your Spring nail picks would be in the comments :)
The L'Oreal polishes are some of my favorite! I have a similar shade by them-- pistachio dream-- that I love as well!
