Recent Purchases # 9

I haven't done one of these posts in a while but that certainly doesn't mean I haven't being buying stuff. Because I definitely have. I just remembered this time to actually post about it...

I'm thinking we should start with the beautiful bronze eyeshadow, which is the Clinique All About Shadow in 'At Dusk'. I've been looking for more bronzey eyeshadows and liners because in all honesty that is all I really gravitate towards at the moment. I'm a big fan of blue eyes and bronzey tones to make them stand out more and I generally just think warmer colours are really flattering on the eyes. I love this eyeshadow for all over the lid and around the eye - already a big fan. It really buttery in texture with no fall down too so it's easy to work with. The next product is the Maybelline Baby Lips in 'Just Peachy', I have a few different shades of this but my younger sister had this and I tried it and fell in love. I'm definitely a neutral lip girl in well and this is moisturizing and is a perfect nudey peach color. I usually wear fairly heavy eye makeup so this pairs up nicely with that. I also got a Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner in 'Scotch' which has become my everyday brown eyeliner. It's a twisty eyeliner so it's best just for lining the top and bottom lashes rather than being precise with because it doesn't have a sharp end and it's quite soft. It has pretty bronze shimmer running through it as well which I love. I got a couple of the Maybelline Master Glaze Glisten Blush Sticks as well. The first shade is Pink Fever which is a pretty fuschia and Coral Shine which is as the name suggests an orangey coral color. I have tried both and I do like them both but I need to play with them a bit more. I can imagine these will be great to slap on in the Summer months. I got another neutral Essie polish in Cocktails & Coconuts which I have yet to try but I love a good neutral nail so I'm excited to try this out. The last product is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade 'Custard' because I have this in the palest shade (Chantilly) which is actually a little pale for under my eyes, especially when I'm more 'tanned' (by my standards). I've been using this concealer on the rest of my face too when I've got a mini-tan situ going on.

  7. I haven't tried a single Baby Lips shade which is a shame because I hear so many good things. I've been on the hunt for neutral/nude nail polish, I think you've found it for me. I want it all really.
