Bumble and bumble Cityswept Finish vs Thickening Dryspun Finish

I get my hair done at the Bumble and bumble downtown salon in New York City so I do use quite a lot of their products. I have been a fan of the Thickening Dryspun Finish for a while so when the Cityswept Finish came out I thought it would be right up my street. They both cost $29 so I thought I would compare the two...

Bumble and bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish: This has a very dry texture (the clue is in the name) and it creates an airy/voluminous texture to your hair without being stiff or greasy. It is amazing for creating instant fullness. It does have a downside though which is that it doesn't hold for very long so you either have to hairspray it into place (which defeats the point of the dry texture part in my opinion) or you need to carry it around with you. I do the latter if I really care about how my hair looks that day. I have repurchased this a couple of times so I obviously think it's a good product.

Bumble and bumble Cityswept Finish: This is supposed to separate your strands and add shine but to be honest I found that this sometimes squirted a bit on my hair instead of creating a nice mist. This meant that parts of my hair would get blobs of the stuff on it. I also found it made my hair kind of greasy and sticky and that was about it. I only used it a handful of times and then gave up. As you can probably tell I would not recommend this product but if you have found a way to make this work (maybe updos?) please let me know!
