Empties # 7

I don't have any money to buy anything new at the moment (which is definitely a good thing) but this means I have been going through products fairly quickly. Some of these products are quite hyped up and I have never mentioned them so within this post I will be doing mini-reviews on each product that I finished and say whether I think I will be repurchasing or not.

        Philip Kinglsey Elasticizer
I have heard quite a lot of people talk about this product and so I was disappointed in how little this actually delivered. In fact I'm not even sure what this was supposed to do. You put it on as a pre-shampoo treatment and leave it in for 10-20 mins or so. I honestly think I will just use pure coconut oil from now on because this made no difference whatsoever to my hair and it's not cheap.

Soap and Glory Foamous Body Wash
Now this is a much cheaper product that I highly recommend, if purely for the incredible smell. This smells like an amazing nutty, syrupy breakfast. If you like really warm smells and you like creamy body washes then go get this but I love it.

Redken All Soft Shampoo
Definitely one of my favourite hair ranges, I think the All Soft products are really nice and definitely leave my hair feeling pretty soft. I'm now trying out the L'Oréal EverPure range at the moment but I always go back to All Soft eventually...

L'Oréal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution
I liked this and I do think it is comparable to Bioderma, but I do think it foams up a tiny bit on the skin and I prefer micellar solutions to be just like water. I found this irritated my eyes a tiny bit but it is pretty good considering the price. I preferred this as a toner.

Tresemmée Keratin Smooth Conditioner
I really like this range, I think it is one of the best drugstore shampoo/conditioner ranges out there. I would definitely repurchases because it made my hair feel really smooth and frizzless.

YSL False Lash Effect Mascara
This is one of my all-time favourite mascaras, I always go back to it. For some people apparently this gives them spider lashes but I guess everyone is different.

Seche Vite Top Coat
This dried out half way through and became really gloopy and unusable. It is good but I am using the Essie top coat at the moment to try that out. I would repurchase this although it is quite expensive.

Touch of Silver Twice a Week Shampoo
This is my favourite purple/toning shampoo because it actually works unlike the John Frieda products that seem to make no different to the brassy tones in my hair. This cost about £3 and it works instantly so I definitely recommend this.

The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth
At first I thought this was amazing because it left my skin feeling silky smooth and soft but after a while I noticed that it was actually only creating a film over my skin. I was disappointed to see it wasn't actually getting absorbed into my skin at all.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion
If you want a really effective facial scrub then this is amazing. I really like the Vitamin C range as a whole because it really gives you bright skin.

Nectar of Nature Argan Oil Exfoliating Body Wash
This is a french product that you can get from Carrefour - although you can't get these in the UK I strongly recommend picking a few up if you're in France. They are cheap, and this one in particular smells amazing and has little exfoliating bits which means you're getting two jobs done in one.

  1. I've tried the top coat - I found it was expensive for the quality. Mine dried up as well! You should try the Butter London top coat- in love with it! A bit pricey but mine has never dried up and lasted me forever.
