La Roche-Posay Dream Team

If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that I 'suffer' from dehydrated and dry skin, especially around my eyes. I have never found an eye cream that I have really liked and thought actually did something more than my normal face moisturiser. Over Christmas I got the La Roche-Posay Hydreane Riche (Moisturizing Cream For Sensitive Skin) and the Substiane Eyes (Fundamental Replenishing Anti-Ageing Care) and I am so impressed by both of these.

The moisturiser is a thick cream which feels incredibly hydrating and effective from the moment you apply it, it is also incredibly soothing. Because it is of a thick consistency, you can use it as a day or night cream because it sinks in nicely but it is rich enough to be used at night. It is also a great make-up base, as I find it really smooths out the surface of the skin.

The eye cream has been a life saver for me (total exaggeration, of course). This is more of a gel formula, which is what I tend to like in eye creams that I have tried before, but it also quite thick which means it really hydrates and soothes the skin under your eyes. The eye cream is quite pricey, but it is worth picking up if you ever see it at a discounted price or you don't mind spending a little bit extra on this.

Just to show they are paraben-free!
The top one is the eye cream and the bottom is the moisturiser
As you can imagine, I highly recommend these products if you have dehydrated or dry skin, because I have really been enjoying using both of these :)

Both are paraben-free.

Hydreane Riche: £11 from Boots
Substiane Eyes: £33.45 from Cosmetic Now (online)

  1. Looks nice!
If I ever get dehydrated skin I will try this out! I tend to have oily skin though

    1. They have a 'light' version of the moisturiser too :)

  2. I've been really impressed with the things I've tried from La Roche Posay. My skin is feeling dehydrated this winter so I'm sure I'd enjoy both of these products! I like your blog, I'm your 100th follower!

  3. whhat! I cant believe those prices. La roche posay is a quite famous brand here in Argentina is way cheaper which amazes me since everything here is more expensive than there. I love all of them products! Great you had good luck with those x

    1. Yeah it is pretty expensive but so is everything in England!

  4. So many people rave about this brand. I'm definitely going to look at the moisturiser because my skin is so dry its uncomfortable x

  5. I love La Roche Posay products, they're such good quality & really deliver what they promise! <3
