Obsessed With # 10: Tom Ford 'Tobacco Vanille'

So let me talk to you about the best smelling perfume of all time...

It may not be the most Summery of perfumes but I still think it's a great evening perfume no matter what time of year it is. If you're into the more fresh/zesty scents then this certainly will not be for you because there is one word that sums this up and it's not fresh, that word is sexy. And that is what I expect from a Tom Ford perfume.

My usual everyday perfumes are Prada 'Candy' and Prada 'Amber', that gives you an idea of what kind of fragrances that I usually gravitate towards. I like warm, woody smells and I'm not ashamed to say that yes, I do like a bit of a sweeter smell. Now onto the perfume in question... Tom Ford 'Tobacco Vanille' is a highly concentrated Eau de Parfum, which means that 1-2 spritzes are sufficient and the smell lingers for hours on end. It definitely has more of a masculine, spicy scent that say Prada 'Candy but the vanilla notes help lift that a little bit. If you're thinking 'ew why would I want to smell of cigarettes?' then stop that thought process right away because this does not smell of Marlboro Reds. All that the tobacco smell brings to the perfume is a woody, smokey touch but it won't make you smell like you have a nicotine addiction, I promise. Also, can we just stop for a minute and admire the packaging?

And now for the scary part... this is the smaller sized bottle (50ML) and it comes in at $210. The larger size (100ML) is $290, which is definitely better value.

Notes: ginger, tobacco leaves, anise, coriander, tobacco flower, clove, spices, fruit wood sap, benzoin, vanilla, tonka bean.

  7. Tobacco grows all across Cuba. Your premium cigar has been made, I hope, out of tobacco coming from the West province of Vuelta Abajo, where a really good material is harvested.iqos cigarette buy
