Hair Empties

I have finished a load of products recently so I thought I would just compile them into different categories so I'm not overwhelming you all. In this post I am going to concentrate on hair products that I have finished over the last few months. I am going to apologize for the L'Oréal Paris product overload but I genuinely do use a lot of their hair products and finish them... so they end up here!

John Frieda Go Blonder Lightening Spray
I don't know why I always find myself turning to this when I find my hair too dark because I know this makes my hair go carrot color. I know this, but yet I still hope that one day it will work for me - but it never will so I need to say farewell once and for all.

L'Oréal EverStyle Energizing Dry Shampoo
This is the only dry shampoo I have ever tried and actually liked. I'm sure I'd like some of the more expensive options out there but this is pretty damn good. First off it smells kind of tropical but in a very subtle way (not like Batiste) and it doesn't leave my hair feeling disgustingly powdery or crunchy.

L'Oréal EverStrong Reconstruct Conditioner
I used to be a fan of the EverCreme or EverRiche line but now I'm all about EverStrong. It smells really minty and refreshing but it also leaves my hair feeling really soft without being weighed down.

L'Oréal EverRiche Conditioner
I'm sorry about the L'Oréal product overkill here, I didn't actually realise there were this many! Anyway, as I said, I used to love this but now I prefer EverStrong. I think this is great for people with really dry, brittle hair.

Pro:voke Touch of Silver Twice A Week Brightening Shampoo
I have probably used up about six of these by now. If you live in the UK this is a really great toning shampoo for those with blonde hair. It's not easy to find here but I have found the Clairol Shimmering Lights Shampoo and Conditioner which are just as amazing (if not better?) so I am super pleased about that. However, this is really cheap and effective so worth picking up if you live in the UK and want to get rid of any brassy tones in your blonde locks.

Living Proof Prime Style Extender
I got a sample of this and I kind of don't know what to say. I don't feel like I loved it or hated it but it's not crazy expensive so I might pick it up sometime just because I'm curious.

L'Oréal OleoTherapy Deep Recovery Mask
My hair is dyed blonde and I use hot tools on it so I use a hair mask every time I wash my hair because I feel like my hair really needs it. This is a nice hair mask, it just left my hair feeling silky soft and a lot smoother.

L'Oréal EverRiche Mask
I like this hair mask but I do think it is a tiny bit too rich for my hair so it is probably best suited to someone with even more damaged or dry hair. It smells really yummy though.

  2. I wouldn't mind trying a few of these products! The L'Oreal Ever Riche range is in my bathroom at the moment, I really like it but I can't use it for very long at any given point as it can make my hair a bit greasy, therefore I've had to swap it in and out every few weeks.

    1. Agreed, that's why I switched to EverStrong which makes my hair feel soft and less dry but it's not too heavy. It also smells aaaaah-maze.

  9. I love the Ever Riche range but they made my roots a bit greasy and I was having to wash my hair every other day. I switched to the L'Oreal Fibrology range which is spot on - def worth trying!
