Obsessed With # 8: Sephora Purchases

I think it is safe to say that I got way too excited about being able to shop at Sephora again when I first came to New York. I have previously mentioned the amazing Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light and the NARS Guy Bourdin Blush Palette but I have also been really enjoying some other naughty Sephora buys that I have been using pretty much every single day.

The first product is the Anastasia Brow Wiz (shade Ash Blonde) which I have used every single day without fail since I bought it over a month ago. I used to use powders because I never found a pencil that I loved but this one is an amazing shade for me and it looks way more natural. I think the reason why this is so fool-proof is because it has a tiny nib and it's not too hard or soft. I also really like the spooly that it comes with because you can brush through your brows and make them look a lot more natural and less drawn on. The second product is the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray which does a really good job of setting my makeup after I've dusted my Hourglass powder all over my face. My makeup tends to last on my skin pretty well anyway but this really ensures that it doesn't slip or slide throughout the day (or night). The final product is something I had my eye on for absolutely ages before caving and that is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (shade Chantilly). I love this as an all around concealer, for under my eyes or on any blemishes and scars. It isn't radiant in the sense that it has any glitter or shimmer in it, it's just quite creamy and moisturising. I often use this on any redness on my cheeks because it doesn't cake or settle in any pores or lines.

Have you tried any of these?

  1. I just started using the bobbi brown creamy concealer and I love it for under my eyes, but the nars concealer sounds like it might be really great for blemishes! I'm really wanting to try the brow wiz pencil too! I've only had luck with powders, but I hear so many good things about that pencil that I can only imagine how well it works!

  5. Haha as soon as I visited NY I made sure I went straight to Sephora! I like the look of that brow pencil, I use powder and a MAC pencil but I'm not 100% happy at the moment. Always wanted to try the Nars concealer, heard so much about it! xx
