One of my new skincare favourites is the Taaj Micellar cleansing water which is absolutely brilliant for removing heavy eye makeup in one sweep. I do love Bioderma but sometimes when I am wearing fairly heaving eye makeup or a lot of mascara (so basically everyday) it doesn't quite cut it. I prefer Bioderma for my skin and Taaj for my eyes basically because it is quite strong and I'm not sure how good that is for fairly sensitive/irritable skin like mine. The problem is, it isn't easily accessible especially if you don't live in France. I have looked online but it retails for pretty expensive! I get mine in France for about €12 but in the US it retails for a lot more and you can't really find it in the UK.
A new discovery of mine is the Super Facialist Una Brennan range which you can get from Boots. One product in particular that I love is the Neroli Firming Daily Brightening Cleanser, which has a really lovely balm-like consistency. It literally melts away any makeup left on my face and leaves my skin feeling really soft and I love the light floral smell. Unfortunately I think I only have a week or two's worth left and I'm home in Paris at the moment so I will have to pick up something else to replace this! If you can get this, I would definitely give it a go because it's affordable too.
I'm still loving the Sleek Face Form Palette which I raved about a couple months ago. I just think it is really handy, especially because I am in France where I couldn't bring all my makeup (boohoo). It is nice to have a compact which has a bronzer, highlight and a blusher, all of which really suit my skin tone. I have the lightest shade but it does come in other shades for darker skin tones. I think Sleek is probably my favourites drugstore brand for blushers. I just wish they sold it at Boots because I'm definitely more of a Boots girl rather than a Superdrug one.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua is obviously a favourite considering I raved about it a couple posts ago. I just think it is a perfect Summer time foundation with the nicest finish. If you want to hear more about it then you can read my previous post by clicking here.
It's really hot and muggy in Paris at the moment and I keep waking up with a pretty sweaty face (gross but whatchu gon' do about it?) which has caused a few breakouts, although I guess it could also be hormonal. Anyway, one product I love for dealing with acne prone skin is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo which I basically wear as a moisturiser at the moment. It's great for putting makeup on top of and I just think it is great for controlling any oils and keeping any blemishes at bay.
The final product I love is the L'Oréal Nude Magique CC Cream Anti-Redness. What I love about this is that it leaves a really natural looking finish and feels really moisturising. It leaves a nice natural, yet radiant finish that is just fool proof. I have heard some people say it is a bit too dark for them but I am pretty pale and I find it blendable enough to match my skin tone.
What products have you all been loving recently?

DeleteI love the effaclar duo. I'd love to try some Una Brennan skincare, shame they don't sell it in the Netherlands. Great picks, Annie.
