Some of these buys are actually not that new at all but I just haven't spoken about them. I have kind of been neglecting my 'Recent Purchases' posts because I've being trying to finish products rather than buy new ones but with all the finishing products, I have needed to stock up on a few 'essentials' (who am I kidding?). I also have been gifted a couple of these products by friends/family so I haven't bought most of this with my own money per say. I just thought I would give them all a mention because I haven't posted in a little while! My room here in Paris is pretty dark so the pictures aren't the best but bear with me until I get a better camera sometime...
I'll start off with the Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentré in the 30ml size because this is the most recent purchase and I haven't actually tried it yet. I needed a new moisturiser and because this is in a small size I thought it would be good to try it out after all the great things I have heard about it. I got it from City Pharma in Paris so it was about half the price of what you would pay in England or in the US. I also ran out of my Dove deodorant today so I picked up the Klorane 24 Hour Efficient Deodorant with White Althea which is for sensitive skin. I'm personally a big fan of Mitchum when it comes to deodorant but you can't get that here so I bought this one on a total whim. Another skincare item I bought recently was the Nuxe Contour Des Yeux Prodigieux eye cream which contains hyaluronic acid. I've been really liking this eye cream actually. It does the job, doesn't irritate my eyes and really moisturises my under eye area - so no complaints here! Onto makeup, I got the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (click here for my post on that) which I am absolutely loving for days when my skin looks good and I just want a really natural finish. I won't talk about it any further considering I dedicated a whole post to it. I also have a new Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara, which is one of my absolute favourites. I did a post about this mascara a while back so if you want to know more about it just click here. I'm not huge on MAC in that I had never actually bought from one of their limited edition lines but the 'All About Orange' line actually really appealed to me. I ended up getting Honey Jasmine, which is a beautiful peachy orange shade. It is basically my perfect blush shade and is up there with my all time favourite NARS Luster. I have heard it is similar to MAC Peaches, which is part of the permanent line. My birthday was back in March but a friend of mine sent me a late birthday present and I was pleased when I got a vibrant, blue toned red lipstick in the mail a couple of weeks ago. It's a YSL Rouge Pur Couture in 01 Le Rouge and it's a really bright pinky red. I tend to like both orange toned and pink toned reds so I was happy! The last new product of mine is the Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Silk Eyeshadow in the shade 24. My mom got me this the day I got my university degree result so she was in a pretty good mood and this was on sale so obviously it had to be mine (as well as a skirt from American Apparel and a Marc Jacobs handbag- thanks Trudz). I actually can't find this shade anywhere online but I got it for sale in Sephora and it is beautiful.
So that is all! These things have all been bought over the last month or so. I have to say I have been doing pretty well for me at not spending too much money but I think my mom would beg to differ ;)

I really like it, although I would like a really hydrating, thick cream for night time too!
