Current Hair & Body Favourites # 1

I usually do favourites all in one go but I have quite a few favourites at the moment so I thought I would split it into two different categories. I finished uni about a month ago and I came home only a few days ago. I had to put most of my stuff in storage (including makeup, skincare etc) so I just thought I would point that out because I only have my absolute favourite products with me here. I also had to do a massive clear out so a lot of the product I wasn't really a fan of got chucked. There aren't very many but here are my current favourite hair and body favourites.

My first two favourite hair products are the L'Oréal EverPure shampoo and conditioner (they are each £5.99 at Boots). I get quite an itchy scalp and I've always just kind of ignored that because I thought there wasn't much I could do about it. That was until I realised that it could be caused by sulfates which are known for irritating the skin. As the name 'EverPure' would suggest, this range is a lot more 'pure' and does not contain sulphates. I have the shampoo and conditioner from the 'Colour & Moisture' range and I really like this combination. It smells quite fresh and minty which I really like because it feels quite cooling on the scalp. I find that these leave my hair soft and manageable without irritating my scalp - which can only be a good thing!

The next hair product I have been really enjoying is the Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hair Spray. Now, you might be thinking 'Annie you hate raspberries', which is definitely true. However, I don't have a problem with the scent (I also like raspberry jam) but I dislike the actual fruit when it is whole. It's a physical thing rather than the taste or anything like that (I wouldn't really know because I couldn't bring myself to put one in my mouth). Ramble aside, this smells amazing. I love the smell of vanilla even though I know it is kind of tacky I just can't help it. It is pretty cheap (£4.99 at Superdrug) and you get a pretty big bottle - I've had mine for a few months now. I just think it works really well as a hair spray, it doesn't leave my hair too crispy and the smell just makes it so much better than any other hair sprays I have ever used.

Last but certainly not least is my favourite ever body scrub: Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub. This is one of the nicest smells I have ever smelt in my entire life. It smells of maple syrup on pancakes, which although you might think you don't want to smear all over your body it is just so deliciously nice that I don't even care that it makes me smell like a food. If I could get a body moisturiser that smelt of this, I would do so immediately. The scrub works really nicely as well, so all-in-all it is just amazing.

  2. I'm currently using the same sulfate-free L'Oreal line (except for mine are the volumizing ones) and I love them! The minty smell is really refreshing. I really want to try that Soap & Glory scrub :)
